With 1400 species, bats are second only to rodents in the number of mammal species on earth and are the only truly flying mammals. BC has the greatest number of bat species in Canada. They are your best friends when the mosquitoes are around, but are too often misunderstood and feared. Join us to learn all about bats globally and locally.
