Repair Cafe: The Children's Edition In-Person
Broken Batman? Busted Bouncer? Torn Teddy Bear? Bring them to the Repair Café! A sustainability initiative from Transition Kamloops, these volunteers have the experience to advise, assist, and teach you how to carry out the needed repairs. Volunteers can help with small children's items needing sewing, woodworking, or electrical repair (no computers or cell phones). If the item is not repairable kids can learn how to take it apart! Volunteers can also offer advice on where to recycle unrepairable items.
